NHS/emergency services offer — save hundreds selling your home in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire

As a way of giving something back to those who look after us daily, we’re reducing our estate agency fees for sellers in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

How much you’ll save depends on the price you agree for selling your home. As an illustration, you’d save £400 on a £200,000 sale, if we carry out the estate agency and the legal side of the sale.

Our conveyancing charges stay the same.

Those qualifying for this offer will also receive a 20% discount on legal fees for wills and powers of attorney.

Who can apply?

For now, this is a pilot scheme so applies to sellers working for the —

  • NHS
  • Police
  • Fire service
  • Ambulance service
  • Coastguard

How can I apply?

As you’d expect, you’ll need to show some identification. That could be official photo ID, or a letter from your employer confirming you work for a service covered by the pilot.

What are the terms and conditions?

The offer is a reduction in our estate agency fee from 1% to 0.8% and applies to properties in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Applicants must be currently working for the services covered.

The minimum estate agency fee covered by the offer is £1,000 and applicants must use Ledingham Chalmers Estate Agency for the legal work related to the property sale.
