Drive through Alford towards Bridge of Alford along the A944. Before you reach Bridge of Alford take a left turn onto the Lumphanan and Banchory road (A980). Continue along this road and immediately after a narrow hump-back bridge, take the road on the right to Auchintoul. After a short distance follow the road around to the left and at the bend continue along to the top of the road at the sharp right bend. Shannoch Steading is the property on the right hand side.
